Paris Javid the Winner of the Rotary Four Ways Speaking Competition

This morning four Year 10 students, Xavier Hill Wilson, Paris Javid, Natasha Tonga, and Grace Webster, took part in the Rotary Four Ways Speaking Competition for the Nedlands district. After a delicious breakfast Xavier, Paris, Natasha and Grace presented 6 minute speeches exploring current and interesting topics including the impact of short attention spans, the dangers of fair trade and the need to reform the medical patent system. The competition was very close but in the end Paris’ discussion about The Stress of Time was announced the winner. Paris will now compete in the Semi-Finals in February next year.
