Mental Health Week 2015

Mental Health Week raises community awareness about mental health issues and is held every October each year to coincide with World Mental Health Day (10th October). The aim of Mental Health Week is to promote social and emotional wellbeing amongst the community, encouraging people to maximise their health potential, enhance the coping capacity of communities, families, individuals and increase mental health recovery. WAAMH is using the ACT-Belong-Commit message as the official theme for 2015 Mental Health Week- Being active, having a sense of belonging and purpose in life all contribute to happiness and good mental health.
