At a special Peace Pole dedication ceremony on Wednesday morning, Taylor Rawson Yr 11, represented Shenton College and Subiaco’s Aboriginal culture by delivering a speech about ‘peace’, which included the words ‘Coer nagal nyjinonyj Ngulla Boodja’ (May Peace Prevail on Earth) – and did a wonderful job. Also present were the majority of our Aboriginal students, our newly crowned Head Girl & Boy as well as staff from DEC.  Languages on the Peace Pole are English, Nyungah, Japanese and Italian.
