In 2015, Shenton College formed a National Strategic Alliance between Australian schools with similar values, standards and goals, and the University of Western Australia. Since the inception of the Alliance, we’ve undertaken four professional development and networking study tours, with more than 15 Shenton College staff visiting several National Strategic Alliance partners.

- Nossal High School, Vic
Providing a forum for sharing knowledge and experiences between high achieving schools, the purpose of the Alliance is to collaborate on three key areas that are vitally important to us as contemporary, leading edge educators:
- Student development and leadership
- Staff development and leadership
- Curriculum innovation and creativity.
We’re also developing several activities that have grown out of the work of the Alliance, including inviting delegations of students and staff from each of the high performing schools to Western Australia to undertake an intensive university experience at UWA, as well as hosting an event at Shenton College where Alliance members share ideas and experiences.
