UWA Memorandum
The University of Western Australia and Shenton College are entering the new century in an exciting and innovative partnership which will bring new opportunities for the staff and students.
An original Memorandum of Agreement for the Learning Links program was signed in November 1999 between the University of Western Australia and Hollywood Senior High School. In 2001, the terms were transferred from Hollywood Senior High School to the newly formed Shenton College.
The program comprises four major area for collaboration to create opportunities that enrich the learning experiences of students and staff.
These four areas are:
- Work UWA
- School Management Professional Development
- Educational Research Professional Development
- Student Enrichment
Shenton College students will have special access to the University of Western Australia and its facilities. Students will have enriched learning experiences and improved educational outcomes through a more developed awareness of the research process, increased involvement in inter-disciplinary work and access to accelerated learning. Staff will gain access to high quality management consultancy and management development services.
