Participation Awards
- The Participation Award is a system where students nominate to the Year
Coordinator acts of participation and citizenship that they have completed over the course of the year. Each activity
has points allocated and students will receive, bronze, silver and gold awards depending on the number of
points accumulated. The points scheme is 120pts for gold, 80 for silver and 50 for bronze.
- The presentation of Merit Certificates will be at year assemblies.
- Students will have to fill out a nomination form to claim points.
- The year coordinators tally the points and check at random the veracity of claims. The mentor
teacher is responsible for distributing the nomination forms and collecting them from students and
forwarding them on to the Year Coordinator.
