At Shenton College, we go beyond steering our students to achieve outstanding academic results. Our expansive and responsive curriculum is an example not only of our commitment to developing the full range of our students’ skills and interests, but also an expression of our important role in the wider social, cultural, professional and intellectual ‘village’. Our aim, which guides our teaching, structure and planning, is to prepare confident, outward looking, collaborative young adults for a life of agency, contribution and fulfilment.
One consequence of the strength and success of our programs has been a growth in student enrolments. This, with the transition of Year 7 into the secondary system, has provided an opportunity to extend our Middle School infrastructure. In addition, in 2015 a tender process was commenced by the Department of Education for exciting new building works to be completed for our Senior School in 2019.
This growth, the product of such wide-reaching and consistent success, has affirmed the values, ideals, knowledge and expertise that underpin our programs, our teaching and our outlook.
