College Structure

The College has five main areas:

Middle School

The focus is on 4 groups of 120 students each, working with a team of teachers in a community to:

  • Encourage strong relationships;
  • Develop effective learning;
  • Develop a deep understanding of the educational needs of students; and
  • Promote a sense of belonging.

Senior School

Year 10 provides a transition from middle schooling to the post-compulsory Years 11 and 12. Senior students have the opportunity to become independent and self-directed learners in an environment created for 'young adults'. Students have opportunities to access particular courses at universities, TAFE and within industry.

Special Programs

Both Middle and Senior Schools include a Centre for Deaf Students, and the College will continue with the already well established Academic Talent Program in both Humanities and Mathematics/Science. Other programs also include Fitness for Life, Music Program, Mentor Program and UWA Links.

Staff

The Middle and Senior School have separate staff members, except in the areas of LOTE, dance and music.  There is a Head of Senior School and a Head of Middle School with the Principal overseeing the whole College.

Timetable

The Middle and Senior Schools follow different timetables as shown.
