Introduction

Shenton College is a new Western Australian Secondary School which opened in January 2001.

It is built on a magnificent 13 hectare site of historical and natural significance, bounded by Lemnos, Selby Streets and Stubbs Terrace in Shenton Park.

The new College is the result of the amalgamation of the neighbouring High Schools of Swanbourne and Hollywood. It is the aim of the Department of Education to make Shenton College an outstanding public school serving the local community.

Shenton College is a centre of excellence in all learning areas and strives to engender a positive attitude to learning in all students. It provides a supportive, caring environment that fosters good student, staff, parent and community relationships. Enthusiastic teaching teams promote enjoyable learning and support the social and emotional growth of all students.
